These Terms of Use govern your use of the Good Chocolate app, operated by Appomatix LLC ("we," "us"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms.
Good Chocolate is a personal chocolate-tasting journal with an optional community catalog. The free tier includes quick tasting logs and a limited number of Deep Dive trials. The Pro subscription unlocks Deep Dive tastings, AI voice notes, the Taste Profile, and other premium features.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping access to your account secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
You own the tasting notes, photos, and other content you create. When you choose to share a tasting with the community, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display that content (with your display name) to other users within the app. You can stop sharing a tasting at any time, which removes it from community views.
Don't post content that is unlawful, infringing, hateful, or spam. We may remove content that violates these terms.
The bar catalog is built from community contributions and public data sources, including Open Food Facts. We do not guarantee the accuracy of catalog information such as ingredients, cacao percentages, or origins. Always check the actual product packaging, especially for allergens.
As an Amazon Associate, Good Chocolate earns from qualifying purchases. "Where to Buy" links may be affiliate links to third-party retailers. We are not the seller and are not responsible for third-party products, pricing, or fulfillment.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Appomatix LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, and our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
